Phuong Khanh's work during her term as Miss Earth

On the evening of November 3, Nguyen Phuong Khanh became the first Vietnamese representative to win the Miss Earth 2018 crown in the Philippines. After being crowned, Phuong Khanh will be under the management of the organizing committee and participate in many activities around the world as the reigning beauty queen.

1. Sponsor benefit payment activities:After the coronation night, Phuong Khanh and the 3 runners-up continued to stay in the Philippines for a short time to participate in photo shoots and pay sponsor benefits as the winning contestants.

The Top 4 also interacted with the media and participated in many television programs in the Philippines. They were well taken care of by the organizers, always wearing crowns and sash when appearing in public. These are also familiar activities after being crowned in beauty pageants around the world.

2. Return home to attend the welcome event:After more than a week of performing her duties after being crowned, the new beauty queen will return home to rest and participate in a number of celebratory events. Many beauty queen-crazy countries, especially in the Americas and Southeast Asia, also organize street parades. 3. Participate in environmental activities:Miss Earth was first organized in 2001 by an entertainment corporation in the Philippines, with the message of calling for the protection of the Earth. Therefore, the beauty queen is obliged to participate in activities to raise awareness about the environment, fight against climate change... throughout her term.

Miss Earth 2016 - Katherine Espín visited many countries such as Angola, Ghana, Reunion Islands, Philippines... to fulfill her duties. She participated in environmental protection propaganda at schools, planted trees, organized Earth Day festivals...

4. Awards in countries:As the reigning beauty queen, Phuong Khanh will, like her seniors, have the opportunity to attend competitions to find representatives for Miss Earth in many countries.
