Cong Vinh returned to his wife's hometown to build a charity bridge for people in the mangrove area.

On July 27, Cong Vinh and his wife went to Tan Thanh, Kien Giang to attend the inauguration ceremony of the new bridge. This is a project invested in by the couple to help poor children here go to school more conveniently.

Children in Thuy Tien's hometown are excited to walk on the new bridge. 'A new bridge has just been built. In the past, there was a monkey bridge here. My mother said that when it rained, poor students would slip and fall into the river on their way to school, getting their books wet. Now that there is a new bridge, it is easier to walk. I just hope to have good health to work and help more places,' Thuy Tien shared on her fan page.

This is the second bridge that Cong Vinh and his wife have built for charity in Kien Giang. The total cost of the project is about 100 million VND.

Besides the bridge, Cong Vinh and his wife also spent money to pave some more roads so that people in the area do not have to wade through mud during the rainy season.

Cong Vinh and his wife also gave books and school supplies to poor students preparing to enter the new school year.

However, Cong Vinh and his wife also received a lot of criticism. Some people said that the bridge was not sturdy, looked makeshift because the railings were small and sparse, the bridge surface was made of exposed concrete, not technically correct, and had an ugly appearance... Explaining this, Thuy Tien said: 'At first, the workers made a normal flat surface, but because in the countryside, the bridge was slippery during the rainy season, and people were afraid of danger for people and motorbikes, so they asked for it to be rough to make it more stable and less dangerous. The bridge frame had just been completed and had not been painted or beautified, but because it was about to be the new school year and for people to travel more conveniently, after the inauguration, they used it and I repainted it to make it more beautiful. This area is a brackish water area lacking electricity and fresh water for daily use, so building the bridge was a bit difficult, so the bridge was not as beautiful as expected.
