Nghe An Traffic Police fined ambulance driver for using priority signal incorrectly
An ambulance in Nghe An was recently discovered and fined by the traffic police for using a priority signal device that was not in compliance with regulations.
At around 20:15 on February 12, while on duty on National Highway 1A, through Km 445+500, the working group of Dien Chau Traffic Police Station, Traffic Police Department of Nghe An Provincial Police, discovered an ambulance with license plate 37A-293.xx, driven by driver NHS (residing in Dien Phu commune, Dien Chau district), continuously turning on the priority signal.

The working group stopped the vehicle for inspection and determined that the vehicle had sent out an incorrect priority signal.
For this act, Dien Chau Traffic Police Station has drawn up an administrative fine and temporarily confiscated the driver's driver's license. The fine for this violation will be from 2 to 3 million VND.
