The four candidates for the 14th National Assembly in constituency No. 1 include Mr. Le Quang Huy - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Huu Cau - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Director of the Provincial Police Department; Nguyen Van Kim - Deputy Director of the Nghe An Quality Measurement Department; Nguyen Thi Thanh Xuan - Intermediate Judge, People's Court of Nghe An province.

The 5 candidates for the People's Council of Nghe An province for the 2016-2021 term in constituency No. 20 of Anh Son district include Mr. and Mrs. Le Hong Vinh - Member of the Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee; Nguyen Van Do - Director of the Department of Planning and Investment; Dang Thanh Tung - Secretary of the Anh Son District Party Committee; Bui Thi Phuong - Deputy Chairman of the Anh Son District Party Committee's Inspection Committee; Nguyen Thi Thu Hang - Secretary of the Linh Son Commune Youth Union.
