At the Nghia Dan District Cultural House, 5 candidates for the 14th National Assembly in constituency 2, including Mr. Phan Dinh Trac, Phan Van Quy, Nguyen Thi Thanh; Nguyen Thi Thao, Mong Van Tinh, and 5 candidates for the Nghe An Provincial People's Council for the 2016-2021 term, including: Tran Van Duong, Le Xuan Dai, Phan Thi Hoan, Nguyen Thi Thu, Le Thi Vinh met with voters who are officials of the District Party Committee, District People's Committee, District Fatherland Front, district-level departments and key officials of communes and towns in the district.

Candidates sent their action programs to voters in the coming time: Strengthening close relationships, fulfilling responsibilities to voters, and playing a good role as a bridge between the people and the council and the national assembly. Some issues that candidates are interested in: improving medical equipment, providing primary medical examination and treatment for people in mountainous areas; women's equality; protecting the legitimate rights and interests of youth and teenagers in ethnic minority areas, creating conditions for youth to access science and technology, economic development; paying attention to agriculture, farmers and rural areas; solving jobs for young workers; providing vocational training for children after graduating from high school; solving policies for people with meritorious services; paying attention to business development; protecting the legitimate rights and interests of workers.

After listening to the candidates' biographies and action programs, voters expressed their trust and confidence in the candidates. Voters also suggested that the district central market, bus station and clean water have not been built yet; the situation of rural female workers illegally seeking work abroad is still common... hoping that candidates will take practical actions to resolve these situations.

Voter Nguyen Thi Tuyet Nhung (District Women's Union) expressed a number of issues that need attention regarding employment for women today.
