Nam Dan voters expect candidates to fulfill their promises

(Baonghean.vn) - Continuing the program of meeting voters to campaign for elections according to the law, on the morning of May 7, candidates for the Provincial People's Council at Unit 23 had a meeting with voters of Khanh Son Commune (Nam Dan).

Attending the meeting were comrades Nguyen Xuan Duong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Nguyen Thi Kim Chi - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Director of the Department of Education and Training; Tran Van Huong - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Farmers' Association of Nghe An province; Dao Giang Lam - specialist of the Department of Information Technology, Department of Education and Training; Hoang Nghia Hung - Member of the District Party Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Nam Loc commune; Pham Thi Tho - cultural officer of Nam Loc commune.

Also participating in the meeting and election campaign were candidates for the People's Council of Nam Dan district.

Attending the meeting with voters were comrade Thai Thanh Quy - Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Nam Dan District Party Committee and leaders of Nam Dan district.

Comrade Nguyen Xuan Duong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee reported his action program if he is elected by voters as a delegate to the Provincial People's Council.

Delegates, candidates and a large number of voters attended the conference.

At the meeting with voters, candidates for the provincial and district People's Councils for the 2011-2016 term shared their honor and saw more clearly their responsibilities when being introduced as candidates for elected bodies at all levels; representing the will and aspirations of voters and people.

Candidates for People's Councils at all levels also presented their action programs if they were elected by voters as People's Council representatives. They affirmed that, with their working positions, if they were elected by voters to the Provincial People's Council or District People's Council, it would be an opportunity for the candidates to contribute their strength and intelligence to the common development of their province and Nam Dan district.

Actively participate in provincial People's Council and provincial People's Council forums; ensure the legitimate rights and interests of the people, contribute to improving and enhancing people's lives.

Voters in hamlet 8 recommend that the province and district have strong enough policies for the new rural construction movement.

Voters also expressed high agreement with the action programs of each candidate, which clearly defined the responsibilities of the position and duties of the representative if elected.

Voters hope that, if elected, the delegates must always be close to and attached to the people, promptly reflecting the thoughts and aspirations of voters and people to the authorities for resolution. A large number of voters also proposed that candidates contribute to the promulgation of stronger policies and mechanisms for the new rural construction movement, especially the transportation system, irrigation, and school facilities in disadvantaged communes. Measures must be taken to manage sand and gravel mining activities on the river.

Voters of Hamlet 10 recommend that the province and district pay attention to managing sand and gravel mining activities on the river.

Focus on leading and directing closely, removing difficulties and obstacles in implementing policies for people with meritorious services, resistance fighters, and demobilized soldiers; ensuring rights, enjoying them properly and fully, and protecting the people's rights.

There are effective measures to help families who are really in difficulty and do not have enough labor to have enough living conditions. Many voters also recommended that the province pay attention to all aspects of Nam Trung commune - a difficult commune of Nam Dan district.

Comrade Nguyen Xuan Duong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee proposed to step up propaganda work and organize athletes to meet voters to campaign for elections in accordance with the law and equality.

Voters expect that when elected, candidates will be exemplary, practice what they preach, seriously implement their action programs and promises to the people, fulfill their role as people's representatives, and contribute to improving people's lives.

On behalf of the candidates, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Duong acknowledged the trust and confidence of voters in the candidates and promised to fully and honestly report to the People's Councils at all levels for resolution; at the same time, in his position, he will strive to fulfill the duties of a people's representative. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also explained and clarified a number of issues of concern to voters within the province's jurisdiction.
