Quy Hop voters: Research to help Quy Hop build its own orange brand

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of December 7, in Minh Hop commune (Quy Hop), National Assembly delegates including Mr. Phan Dinh Trac - Member of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Internal Affairs Committee; Ms. Nguyen Thi Thao - Doctor of Tay Bac General Hospital and Mr. Mong Van Tinh - Officer of Que Phong District Youth Union had a meeting with voters of Nghia Xuan, Minh Hop, Van Loi and Ha Son communes after the 2nd session of the 14th National Assembly.

On behalf of the provincial National Assembly delegation, Mr. Mong Van Tinh reported to the voters of 4 communes on the results of the 2nd session of the 14th National Assembly. At the recent session, the National Assembly spent most of its time discussing and giving opinions on 12 draft laws to continue implementing and institutionalizing the Constitution.

The National Assembly delegates discussed and sought solutions for two major national programs: the program of building new rural areas and sustainable poverty reduction. Mr. Duong Xuan Phong, Minh Chua hamlet, Minh Hop commune proposed to soon support housing construction for people with meritorious services.

At the meeting, voters from the communes proposed a number of issues that the province, the Government, and the National Assembly need to pay attention to, such as: slow disbursement of housing support for meritorious people; increasing allowances for part-time officials in localities; and promptly resolving policies for those who participated in the border war and lost their documents.

In addition, voters recommended speeding up the issuance of land use right certificates to Minh Hop people, taking measures to protect the Vinh orange brand after nearly 7 years of being recognized as a geographical indication, and allowing Quy Hop district to build the Quy Hop orange brand.
