Voters of Hoang Mai town propose early payment of compensation for land clearance on National Highway 1A
At the meeting with voters of the National Assembly Deputies of Nghe An province after the 7th Session of the 15th National Assembly, voters of Hoang Mai town proposed early payment of compensation for site clearance for the project to expand National Highway 1A.
On the afternoon of July 1, in Hoang Mai town, delegates of the National Assembly delegation of Nghe An province: Pham Phu Binh - Standing member of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the National Assembly; Hoang Thi Thu Hien - Standing Vice President of the Provincial Women's Union and representatives of the leaders of the Departments: Transport; Natural Resources and Environment; Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs had a meeting with voters who are officials and people in Quynh Thien ward.
Also attending the meeting with voters were leaders of the Town Party Committee, People's Council and People's Committee of Hoang Mai town.

At the conference, on behalf of the National Assembly delegates of constituency No. 3, Ms. Hoang Thi Thu Hien presented the content of the 7th session of the 15th National Assembly.

Accordingly, after 27.5 working days, with the spirit of solidarity, democracy, proactiveness, urgency and high responsibility, the 7th Session of the 15th National Assembly completed the entire proposed program.

At the session, the National Assembly Delegation of Nghe An province participated seriously with a high sense of responsibility in the plenary sessions, discussion sessions in groups, and in the Delegation. There were 58 delegates speaking and 6 written opinions sent to participate in the discussion of the draft law, draft resolution, reports on socio-economic issues, state budget, public investment and important issues under the authority of the National Assembly.
There are also many opinions from delegates in the Delegation who directly participate in documents submitted to the National Assembly when requested by the National Assembly and its agencies.

In particular, at this 7th session, the National Assembly Delegation of Nghe An province coordinated to work with National Assembly agencies, ministries and central branches to give opinions, suggestions and complete the draft Resolution on piloting the addition of a number of specific mechanisms and policies for the development of Nghe An province, which was approved by the National Assembly at the 7th session.

Attending the conference, voters of Quynh Thien ward highly appreciated the results of the 7th Session of the 15th National Assembly as well as the activities of the National Assembly Delegation of Nghe An province.
Voters of Quynh Thien ward raised 16 opinions and recommendations related to policy issues for people with meritorious services; difficulties in granting land use right certificates; resolving land disputes; power grid infrastructure...

Voters of Hoang Mai Town also have recommendations related to land acquisition prices and compensation and site clearance for program and project implementation.
Prolonged problems related to land acquisition and site clearance compensation during the implementation of the National Highway 1A expansion project were also petitioned by many voters of the town to the Provincial National Assembly Delegation.
After listening to voters' opinions, representatives of local leaders and departments discussed and answered a number of issues within their authority.
Responding to recommendations related to compensation and site clearance for National Highway 1A, Mr. Nguyen Huu An - Chairman of Hoang Mai Town People's Committee said that the town is focusing on reviewing and resolving citizens' petitions and complaints in recent times.

As of June 15, 2024, the Town People's Committee has reviewed 973 households (of which: 569 households have land used after December 21, 1982; 404 households have land used before December 21, 1982); issued 544/569 response documents to 544 households that are not eligible for settlement, 5 households withdrew their applications, currently 20 households are being drafted by the Review Teams for response documents. The review rate reached 96.5%.
As of June 20, 2024, the Town People's Committee has accepted and resolved complaints for 404 households whose land was used before December 21, 1982; the Town People's Committee has issued a total of 201 Decisions to resolve complaints for 201/404 households (of which 148 households had correct complaints; 39 households had incorrect complaints; and 14 households were suspended due to withdrawal of applications).
Due to the prolonged incident, complicated documents, and large workload, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Hoang Mai town hopes that voters will sympathize and accompany the town to jointly resolve the problems and ensure maximum benefits for the people.

On behalf of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, Mr. Pham Phu Binh explained and received voters' opinions and recommendations to forward to the Government, National Assembly and relevant levels and sectors for consideration and resolution.
