Voters in the highlands petition many issues regarding traffic infrastructure
(Baonghean.vn) - On November 16, delegates of the 17th Provincial People's Council had a meeting with voters in Quy Chau, Quy Hop, and Tuong Duong.
* In Quy Chau, the delegation of the 17th Provincial People's Council, including Mr. Phan Duc Dong - Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee and Ms. Luc Thi Lien - Deputy Head of the Provincial People's Council's Ethnic Affairs Committee, met with voters of Chau Phong and Chau Binh communes.
Voters from the two communes had 11 recommendations on issues such as: More attention should be paid to building power grids for the remaining 14 out of 19 villages of Chau Phong commune to improve the quality of life for the people; allocating funds to repair the degraded classrooms at Chau Phong Boarding Secondary School.

Voters also suggested that the State should pay attention to supporting capital, trees, and seeds to ensure production to serve life after natural disasters and floods. In Chau Phong commune, there are still many bridges such as Lim village, Bua village... that need to be solidly built to ensure people can travel safely during floods. Bua village needs to build an irrigation dam to bring enough water to irrigate the village's often dry fields.
Representatives of the Commune People's Committee and District People's Committee explained issues within their authority and efforts to arrange funding for the construction of power grids to villages and hamlets of Chau Phong commune with plans from now until 2020.
The government has had many policies to support livestock under the 30a program, but people have not paid attention to care, causing poor growth of livestock. In the coming time, the district and commune will inspect and plan to review the bridges that need to be built and put them on the roadmap in the coming years.

At the meeting, voters of Chau Cuong commune proposed a number of issues that need attention and resolution, including: Support for kindergarten and primary school students in commune 135 to enjoy free school milk; Pay attention to and monitor poor households borrowing capital through the Social Policy Bank to invest in appropriate household economic development; The study regime and attraction of students and teachers, and the implementation of payment is still slow at the end of the school year.
Voters also reflected on the inadequacies that people with university degrees working in kindergartens, primary schools, and secondary schools only receive salaries according to the intermediate and college regime; oversized and overloaded vehicles run through the area; creating conditions for households with farm certificates to access capital sources according to Decree 55 of the Government to invest in farm economic development; early implementation of the construction of Ban Tham bridge and the inter-commune road Khi Teo connecting Ban Co and the road Ban Nhang, Dong Tien connecting to Ban Dong Hin, Chau Thai commune....
Mr. Vi Thanh Tuong - Vice Chairman of Quy Hop District People's Committee directly explained a number of issues under his authority. Ms. Vo Thi Minh Sinh promised to summarize them fully to submit to the Provincial People's Council for consideration and resolution in the next session.

After listening to the report on the results of the 4th Session of the Provincial People's Council, term XVII, 2016 - 2021, at the contact points, voters had many opinions and recommendations including: The issue of building power stations for 6 villages with power lines passing through, located between the two reservoirs of Ban Ve and Nam Non Hydropower Plants, is being implemented slowly.
Voters also suggested that the road from Cua Rao to Luong Minh commune should be upgraded soon; the road to some villages in the reservoir area of Luong Minh commune should be widened to accommodate cars; compensation should be considered for some households affected by the two hydropower plants of Ban Ve and Nam Non...
The leaders of the District People's Committee explained and clarified the voters' opinions and recommendations under their authority; the representative of the Provincial People's Council promised to summarize the voters' opinions and submit them to the Provincial People's Council at the upcoming 5th session.
