(Baonghean.vn) - Voters of Nghi Phu commune agreed to introduce 8 candidates for elected bodies.

That was the result at the conference to collect opinions from voters at the place of residence for candidates for the 14th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels, term 2016 - 2021, organized by the Standing Committee of the Fatherland Front Committee of Nghi Phu commune, Vinh city tonight in hamlet 18.

Candidates for the National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels at the conference to collect comments from voters in their place of residence.

Accordingly, Hamlet 18, Nghi Phu Commune has 1 candidate for the 14th National Assembly, Mr. Tran Ngoc Son - Deputy Chief of the Provincial People's Court; 2 candidates for the Provincial People's Council; 3 candidates for the District People's Council; 2 candidates for the Commune People's Council.

At the conference, after listening to the conference chair read the criteria for National Assembly and People's Council deputies and brief biographies of the candidates, voters expressed their opinions on each candidate.

100% of voters voted in agreement to nominate candidates for the National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels.

Expressing their confidence in introducing all eight candidates for the 14th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2016-2021 term, voters also expressed their trust and expectation that the candidates, in their positions, will continue to make many contributions to the development of their homeland and country.

Voters also hope that when elected to the National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels, the delegates need to increase contact, engagement, and listening to people's opinions, promptly reflecting people's issues to the National Assembly, the Government, central ministries and branches as well as local authorities; worthy of being representatives of the will and aspirations of the people.
