On the morning of October 20, the leaders of Cua Lo town awarded the Cua Lo town police for breaking Project 1021P, preventing the trade of firecrackers.

Due to the complexity and seriousness of the case, the Special Task Force coordinated with Nghi Loc District Police to arrest Tran Thi Thuan (born in 1972), residing in Nghi Tan Ward, Cua Lo Town, for the crime of "Trading in prohibited goods".

During the investigation, the Investigation Committee identified the ringleader as Dang Thai Binh (born in 1985), residing in Hong Thinh hamlet, Dien Hong commune (Dien Chau) and related to Tran Thi Be (born in 1980), residing in Bac Kim Hoa hamlet, Nghi Thuan commune (Nghi Loc).
