(Baonghean.vn) - Implementing the program "Green Chung Cake - For the Poor" on the occasion of the Dinh Dau Lunar New Year to join hands to help the poor celebrate Tet, the Political Department of the Military Region has launched a campaign for officers and soldiers of agencies and units to donate and support cash and materials for the poor.

Soldiers in the entire Military Region donated thousands of sets of clothes to give to poor people in the Military Region.

As a result, after a period of launching, agencies and units sent to the Organizing Committee 500 new warm coats; more than 10,000 student notebooks; 1,500 red scarves; 500 pens... worth nearly 150 million VND. In addition, officers and soldiers in the entire Military Region donated thousands of sets of clothes to give to poor people in the Military Region.

This is a practical and meaningful activity, in the spirit of mutual love, strengthening the military-civilian relationship between officers and soldiers of the unit, contributing to helping poor people celebrate a warm traditional New Year.
