Administrative reform is a regular task that the Party Committee of Nghe An Tax Department focuses on leading, directing and implementing seriously and effectively.
Nghe An Tax Department continues to improve the quality of tax administrative procedure reform, organize the reception and settlement of administrative procedures scientifically and effectively.
Currently, Nghe An Tax Department has deployed applications to provide maximum support for taxpayers such as online tax declaration, electronic tax payment, electronic tax refund, electronic invoices, online personal income tax settlement, etc.

100% of tax administrative procedures are publicly listed, received and resolved under the one-stop mechanism. Most public services for businesses are performed at levels 3 and 4.

In 2018, Nghe An Tax Department received an estimated 118,376 dossiers; the total number of processed dossiers was 117,599, of which 117,599 were on time; there were no overdue dossiers; the number of unprocessed dossiers was 777 (the deadline for returning results has not yet come).
Regarding the reform of the state administrative apparatus, Nghe An Tax Department is implementing the Project to study the organization and structure of the staff, civil servants and employees in Nghe An Tax Department for the period 2018-2020 according to Resolution 6 of the Central Committee (12th term).
The goal is to complete the organization of the tax branches by 2020 to be streamlined and reasonable. Accordingly, by 2020, the number of remaining tax branches will be 10, a reduction of 11 branches compared to the time before the project was implemented.

Concluding the meeting, Deputy Director of the Department of Home Affairs Le Dinh Ly acknowledged and highly appreciated the results of administrative reform work of Nghe An Tax Department in all fields.
The Deputy Director of the Department of Home Affairs requested the Nghe An Tax Department to continue to pay attention to directing, perfecting, reviewing, and arranging cadres and civil servants according to job positions and simplifying administrative procedures.
The Tax sector needs to continue promoting the application of information technology, increasing the rate of handling public service procedures online at a high level, promoting the effectiveness of administrative reform, and contributing to the good performance of the State management function on budget collection.
