Lao Department of Mass Culture visited and worked in Cua Lo town
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of June 1, a delegation of officials from the Department of Mass Culture of the Lao PDR led by Ms. Chan Phet Kham Phong - Director of the Department visited a number of relics and learned about grassroots cultural institutions in Cua Lo town.
Welcoming the delegation were Mr. Nguyen Cong Chung - Deputy Director of the Department of Grassroots Culture, representative of the Department of Culture and Sports of Nghe An.
The delegation of the Department of Mass Culture of the Lao PDR visited the Van Loc Temple - a historical and cultural relic - where the Grand Duke Nguyen Su Hoi was worshiped - the founder of the ancient Van Loc village, today's Cua Lo town.
Next, the delegation visited the Hieu Hap cultural house in Nghi Thu ward to learn about the process of building a cultural block, building village conventions and regulations, and how to organize grassroots cultural activities.
