The private life of the first Miss Universe Vietnam

Nguyen Thuy Lam is the first Miss Universe of Vietnam, crowned in 2008. She is a multi-talented beauty and is active in the arts, from singing, acting to modeling. In 2008, Thuy Lam represented Vietnam in the Miss Universe contest and entered the Top 15 finalists. The Thai Binh model is known as the Miss Universe Vietnam with the longest tenure, lasting 7 years, because it was not until 2015 that the contest returned and found a successor to Pham Huong.

Crowned Miss Universe Vietnam 2008 and entered the Top 15 Miss Universe World in the same year, Thuy Lam later left many impressions in the fields of music and film.

When her career was at its peak, Thuy Lam suddenly got married to her long-time boyfriend, a doctor, in 2010. She then gave birth to two children, Su (real name Nguyen Anh Khoi, born in 2010) and Mon (real name Nguyen Thuy An, born in 2013).

Since then, Thuy Lam has almost "frozen" her artistic activities to focus on taking care of her family and raising her children. All information or images of Thuy Lam are very rare. After getting married, she also moved to Hanoi to follow her husband. In 2021, Thuy Lam gave birth to another little angel.

The beauty once confided that during her time as a geisha, she missed Saigon, her family and her work very much:"I'm not used to Hanoi so sometimes I feel sad. Staying at home all the time makes me feel bored. But then I comfort myself and encourage myself to overcome it. If you ask me to choose between art and family now, I'd still say family is number 1."
