Former US official believes Russia could destroy Ukraine in just 1 day

"Russia can destroy Ukraine within 1 day without using nuclear weapons," - this official hypothesized.
According to him, Moscow is showing restraint towards its neighbor because of historical similarities.
"Ukraine and its people were part of the Russian empire for centuries. There were a lot of mixed marriages. The Kremlin certainly doesn't want a poor, ruined country bordering it," Roberts said.

The former White House official added that the Western media has painted a picture of Russia's "failure," misleading many Americans and Europeans about the situation.
Russian armed forces began attacking Ukrainian infrastructure on October 10, two days after the terrorist attack on the Crimean bridge, which Russian authorities said was organized and carried out by Ukrainian special services. The attack hit energy facilities, defense industry, military command posts and communications hubs.
