Former Vietnamese player Quang Hung of Da Nang Club received a heavy penalty for his bad behavior with Xuan Tu of Hanoi FC in round 10 of V-League 2024/25.
On the afternoon of January 21, the VFF Disciplinary Board issued a penalty to SHB Da Nang player Quang Hung. Accordingly, the former Vietnamese player must pay a fine of 15 million VND and be suspended from the next two matches for "intentionally violating the body of an opposing player" in the match between SHB Da Nang and Hanoi FC on January 19, in round 10 of the LPBank V-League.

The incident occurred in the 56th minute, Quang Hung dropped the ball and intentionally used his arm to violently hit the face of midfielder Le Xuan Tu of Hanoi FC.
Referee Tran Ngoc Nho immediately gave Quang Hung a yellow card, but the tournament organizers thought this was an act that needed a heavier penalty, so they transferred the file to the VFF Disciplinary Board.

Ancelotti reacts to rumors of leaving Real Madrid
Coach Ancelotti denied rumors that he has decided to leave Real Madrid at the end of the season.
I want to make one thing clear. I will never announce in advance the time of leaving Real Madrid, because it is not my decision. I would like to emphasize that whether I leave Real Madrid or not is not my decision," the Italian coach said at a press conference on the evening of January 21.
A day earlier, Onda Cero reported that coach Ancelotti would leave Real Madrid at the end of this season, despite having just extended his contract until 2026.

"The Italian tactician is said to have carefully considered his decision. Despite enjoying his happy days at the Santiago Bernabeu, Ancelotti feels it is time to close the second chapter of his coaching career at Real Madrid," the Spanish newspaper reported.
Coach Ancelotti denied rumors from the Spanish press but did not make any statement about staying at Bernabeu after the 2024/25 season. "Don Carlo" is still at risk of being fired by the Spanish Royal team's leadership if Real Madrid does not perform well.
Hoang Anh Gia Lai unexpectedly re-signs striker who refused to renew contract
Hoang Anh Gia Lai has just successfully recruited "old man" Washington Brandao to prepare for the rest of the 2024/25 season. Notably, this 35-year-old striker was once released by the mountain town team...
The fact that the mountain town team re-recruited the 35-year-old Brazilian striker was surprising, because previously Washington Brandao was refused a contract extension by Hoang Anh Gia Lai after playing for the club from 2021-2023.
During that time, Brandao played 53 games for Hoang Anh Gia Lai, scoring 7 goals in the V-League under coach Kiatisuk.

Before returning to Brandao, Hoang Anh Gia Lai said goodbye to striker Jeferson Elias for reasons of not meeting professional requirements.
It is worth mentioning that just last season, Elias scored 13 goals for Hanoi Police after 24 matches, ranking 3rd in the list of top scorers, after Rafaelson (Nguyen Xuan Son) and Alan.
Speaking about the team's new deal, Technical Director Vu Tien Thanh said: "When we heard the news of Brandao's return, all the coaches and players of Hoang Anh Gia Lai supported him. I hope Brandao will soon integrate into the team's playing style and will help the team perform well in the future...".
