The woman insulted a Hanoi traffic police officer. |
Colonel Dao Vinh Thang - Head of the Road and Railway Traffic Police Department, Hanoi City Police informed that the Traffic Police Department is coordinating with the police of the district and ward where the incident occurred to track down the woman who claimed to be a journalist and insulted the traffic police in the clip posted on social media.
Previously, on May 25, a woman claiming to be a journalist threatened and cursed at the traffic police at checkpoint 141 - Hanoi City Police. The reason is said to be that she asked the traffic police officer to answer the phone but he did not answer.
Despite being reminded by the working group to behave politely, this woman continued to make challenging statements. The man who directly violated the rules stood silently from beginning to end, not saying a word, nor taking any action to stop the woman's excessive behavior.
When the commander of task force 141 asked the officers to make a record and handle the matter normally, the woman loudly said: "I told you to do nonsense. Why didn't you pick up the phone when I gave it to you?" and then challenged: "Here, I'm standing here, take a picture and post it, quickly post it for me... You guys are doing such a rude thing."
Immediately after the clip was posted on social media, many journalists expressed outrage at the woman’s behavior. They said that the woman’s misconduct more or less affected the image of true journalists.
