Highlights of Pu Nha Thau Temple Festival on Ba Gia Mountain

Attending the festival were leaders of Ky Son district, leaders of Noong Het district, Muong Kham district (Xieng Khouang province) of Laos.

Pu Nha Thau Temple is a sacred temple in the beliefs and spirituality of ethnic minorities such as Thai, Kho Mu, Mong… in Ky Son district. The temple worships the Holy Mother of the Upper Realm and General Doan Nhu Hai of the Tran Dynasty, who had the merit of protecting the country’s southwestern border.

Pu Nha Thau Temple Festival is an opportunity for people to express the unique cultural features of the people of Western Nghe An such as: carving the field, tom, khen dance, lam vong, and sap dance in harmony with the bustling sound of gongs; folk games such as crossbow shooting, throwing con, to mac le...

The festival is also an opportunity for people to introduce and promote products such as brocade weaving, bamboo and rattan weaving, local cuisine, etc.
