Delegates attending the Patriotic Emulation Congress of Nghe An province offered flowers and commemorated President Ho Chi Minh.

On the afternoon of August 6, in Vinh city, the delegation attending the Patriotic Emulation Congress of Nghe An province, period 2015-2020, offered flowers and commemorated President Ho Chi Minh at Ho Chi Minh Square.

The delegation observed a minute of silence in memory of President Ho Chi Minh, the national liberation hero, an outstanding cultural celebrity, who sacrificed his whole life for the revolutionary cause, for national independence, for a prosperous and happy life for the people.

President Ho Chi Minh - an outstanding leader, national hero, an outstanding international soldier, he devoted his entire life to the Fatherland, to the people, to the cause of fighting for national independence and reunification.

President Ho Chi Minh's moral example is a priceless asset of the Vietnamese people in all ages, like a torch illuminating the path for our Party, government and people on the revolutionary path, for national independence and freedom, for a democratic, equitable and civilized society.

During his lifetime, President Ho Chi Minh paid special attention to the patriotic emulation movement. He once said: "Emulation is patriotism, patriotism requires emulation, and those who emulate are the most patriotic." His thoughts have been and are the guiding principles for all actions of all levels, sectors, cadres, party members and people to enthusiastically strive to compete in work, study and contribute to the cause of national development and homeland construction.

Implementing his teachings and promoting the heroic Soviet tradition, the patriotic emulation movement of Nghe An province in recent years has had many innovations, created strong momentum and achieved many good results, contributing to the successful implementation of the goals and tasks of socio-economic development, national defense, security, Party building, and building an increasingly strong political system.

Besides, the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Provincial Fatherland Front Committee have focused on leading and directing all levels and sectors to closely follow the core, key and practical tasks to organize, launch and implement extensive patriotic emulation movements.

Offering flowers to his spirit, the delegates promised to continue to strive to excellently complete all assigned tasks, unite as one, and contribute to building the province to develop more and more.

The Patriotic Emulation Congress of Nghe An province, 2015 - 2020 period, had more than 500 delegates and 188 typical advanced collectives and individuals in various fields honored by all levels and sectors.
