Provincial People's Council delegates offer flowers to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh

On the morning of December 10, before the opening of the 12th session of the 17th Provincial People's Council, term 2016 - 2021, provincial leaders and delegates of the Provincial People's Council held a flower offering ceremony at the Uncle Ho Statue at Ho Chi Minh Square (Vinh city).

Attending the flower offering ceremony were comrades: Nguyen Dac Vinh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Nguyen Xuan Son - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Thai Thanh Quy - Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Nguyen Van Thong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee.Also offering flowers at the flower offering ceremony were members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee; Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council, Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee; Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; leaders of provincial departments, branches, sectors, and mass organizations; Heads of the Provincial People's Council Delegation Groups.Photo: Thanh Cuong

Offering a basket of fresh flowers to the soul of President Ho Chi Minh, the provincial leaders and delegates of the Provincial People's Council expressed their respect and infinite gratitude for his immense contributions, the national liberation hero, outstanding cultural celebrity, and genius leader of the Vietnamese people.

Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle, in recent times, the Provincial People's Council has continued to innovate in working methods, styles and manners, improving the quality of its activities; making an important contribution to promoting socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security of the province as well as increasingly better meeting the urgent needs and interests of the people.

At this 12th session, with the spirit of continuing to innovate and improve quality, the Provincial People's Council will promote the intelligence and responsibility of each delegate, participate in discussions, contribute many profound opinions to the reports and draft resolutions presented at the session, and improve the quality of decisions on issues under the authority of the Provincial People's Council.

The delegation pledged before the spirit of President Ho Chi Minh to continue promoting the achievements, overcoming difficulties, strengthening solidarity, performing well the functions, tasks and powers of the Provincial People's Council according to the provisions of law, meeting the general development requirements of the province and the trust of voters and people of the province; contributing their strength and intelligence to the cause of building Nghe An in particular and Vietnam in general to become increasingly rich and civilized as Uncle Ho always wished during his lifetime.
