Nghe An Provincial People's Council delegates meet voters in Nghi Loc district
On the morning of May 13, delegates of Nghe An Provincial People's Council including Mr. Bui Dinh Long - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tung - Chairman of Nghi Loc District People's Committee; Mr. Hoang Lan - Deputy Head of the Economic - Budget Committee of the Provincial People's Council met with voters of Nghi Xa commune and Nghi Quang commune, Nghi Loc district before the mid-year session of 2025 of the 18th Provincial People's Council.
Provincial People's Council delegates informed voters about the expected content and agenda of the 2025 mid-year session of the Provincial People's Council, scheduled to take place from July 9 to 10, 2025. The session will consider 27 reports and is expected to pass 17 important resolutions.
The provincial People's Council delegates also reported an overview of the province's socio-economic development, national defense and security in the first 5 months of the year; clearly stating key tasks and solutions in the coming time.
In a democratic and frank spirit, 16 voters expressed their opinions and made recommendations on many practical issues. Notable among them were: Converting land use right certificates according to the 2024 Land Law; issuing and exchanging land use right certificates for people after donating land for new rural construction; resolving procedures for issuing resettlement land certificates and reducing the contribution level of people whose land was recovered for the N5 road project.
Voters also recommended that the province pay attention to environmental issues in Nam Cam Industrial Park; return the land after building the power grid; upgrade traffic infrastructure and coastal drainage systems; speed up the progress of the Kim Thi Company's low-income worker housing project; ensure the regime for commune-level part-time cadres after merging administrative units; improve the efficiency of arranging grassroots militia forces; resolve shortcomings in the selection of young people for military service...
After listening to voters' opinions and recommendations, representatives of the People's Committees of communes and leaders of specialized departments of Nghi Loc district directly explained a number of contents under their authority.
On behalf of the Provincial People's Council Delegation, Comrade Bui Dinh Long - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee acknowledged and accepted all opinions and recommendations of voters. He requested the Nghi Loc District People's Committee and local authorities to continue to review, grasp and promptly resolve issues under their authority, especially those related to land and environment.
The remaining recommendations will be reviewed and synthesized, submitted to the Provincial People's Council at the upcoming session, and transferred to competent authorities for settlement according to regulations.
Immediately after the meeting with voters, comrade Bui Dinh Long directly inspected the road from Nghi Duc commune to Nghi Thiet commune - a road that voters reported had degraded, affecting people's lives and travel.
