Russian Foreign Ministry representative asks US to 'erase traces' in some countries
Commenting on the statement of General John Hyten - Deputy Chairman of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff, Ms. Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, proposed that the United States "erase traces" of Americans in Iraq, Libya, Afghanistan and Syria.
The traces are not large
Earlier, Mr. Hyten stated that, as the United States deals with developments in Afghanistan and Iraq, "the threat in the Middle East should not be ignored, but dealt with differently, leaving only "small traces" to focus more on the threat from China and Russia."
