Party Congress of the Department of Home Affairs for the 2020 - 2025 term

On the afternoon of May 8, the Party Committee of the Department of Home Affairs held the Congress for the 2020 - 2025 term. Attending and directing the conference was comrade Nguyen Nam Dinh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies Bloc.

During the 2015 - 2020 term, the Party Committee focused on leading specialized agencies to maximize their functions, advising the Provincial People's Committee on state management of internal affairs; advising and assisting the Provincial People's Committee on state management of internal affairs.

Advise on the implementation and effective organization of many programs, plans, projects in the field of internal affairs with high and comprehensive results.

The arrangement of the apparatus, streamlining and improving the quality, effectiveness and efficiency of the state management apparatus at all levels are regularly paid attention to. The work of staff management is increasingly carried out strictly, in accordance with the regulations of the superiors and openly and transparently.

The Party Committee of the Department has focused on leading professional advice to the Provincial People's Committee on the Project to arrange commune-level administrative units in the province according to Resolution No. 37-NQ/TW of the Politburo. People's Councils at commune, district and provincial levels have approved the Resolution and submitted it to the Ministry of Home Affairs and central ministries and branches for approval.

At the same time, the Party Committee focused on leading the implementation of administrative reforms, innovating working styles and methods, improving the sense of organization, discipline and service spirit of cadres and civil servants. Reviewing, urging, simplifying the components of documents, shortening the time to handle administrative procedures. Modernizing agencies, upgrading facilities and working equipment, constantly applying information technology in management, direction and operation.

Emulation and commendation work, state management of religion, and archives have had many positive and clear changes. The Party Committee has paid attention to and well implemented the work of political and ideological education, inspection, supervision, organization building and leadership of mass organizations.

The Party Committee and the agency constantly innovate leadership and direction methods in all aspects of work. Party committee and cell activities are disciplined, high-quality, practical, and diverse in form.

Unity within the Party is maintained, Party building work is enhanced, the political system is consolidated, and its position is increasingly enhanced. Every year, the Party is ranked as having fulfilled its tasks well or better.

The Congress also focused on discussing and contributing ideas to the draft documents of the Congress at higher levels, at the same time, clarifying the achievements and limitations, thereby setting out goals, directions and tasks for the next term to continue to lead the provincial Home Affairs sector to increasingly develop and well perform the assigned political tasks.

In his speech, Secretary of the Provincial Agencies Party Committee Nguyen Nam Dinh requested that in the 2020 - 2025 term, the Department of Home Affairs Party Committee continue to promote initiative, creativity, and professional leadership to better perform the assigned functions and tasks of "perfecting institutions, streamlining the apparatus, tightening discipline, and enhancing the application of information technology".

Focus on advising on good administrative reform; administrative procedure reform; enhancing the application of information technology in management and operation; reorganizing the apparatus in the political system, public service units and improving the quality of the staff of civil servants, public employees and workers in the direction of streamlining the payroll, associated with suitable job positions.

Continue to pay attention to building and improving the quality of the industry's apparatus, staff and party members to meet task requirements; build a truly clean and strong Party organization.
