Successfully complete the targets set by the congress

The political report presented to the Party Congress of VietinBank Vinh City Branch assessed: In the past term, the Party Committee of the unit has directed the successful implementation of the targets set by the 6th Congress, the material and spiritual life of workers has been increasingly improved, the unit has fulfilled its obligations to the State budget and actively participated in social security work. Party building work has been focused on, internal solidarity has been maintained, and mass organizations have been increasingly consolidated.

By December 31, 2019, the average locally mobilized capital reached VND 3,450 billion, equal to 141% compared to the beginning of the term; outstanding loans were VND 4,078 billion, equal to 209% compared to the beginning of the term, with an average growth of 16%/year, achieving the target set by the Congress.

The Party Committee always closely follows the economic development orientation of the locality and the industry to direct professional activities. The loan capital structure is shifted to focus on priority areas according to the policies of the Party and the State; Applying many large preferential credit programs to support development, implementing debt restructuring, exempting and reducing loan interest to share when customers encounter difficulties due to complicated developments of the market, natural disasters, epidemics... Continuing to apply modern technologies, new and convenient products to service activities to help shorten transaction time, increase labor productivity, promptly meet the increasing needs of customers...

Along with doing well in business, social security is an area of ​​work that the Party Committee always cares for and focuses on.

Continue to increase operating market share

In the 2020 - 2025 term, the Party Committee of VietinBank Vinh City Branch aims to restructure and comprehensively innovate the operating model, aiming at international standards and practices, implementing sustainable business development, ensuring jobs and improving the lives of workers, fulfilling obligations to the State, increasing market share and brand of VietinBank. Strive to maintain the title of a strong and exemplary strong Party Committee, and excellent strong unions.

The targets set by the Party Committee of VietinBank - Vinh City Branch for the 2020 - 2025 term are: Average annual growth of mobilized capital is 7-10%, outstanding loans are 7-15%, service revenue is 10-15%, profit target is 10-15%, average income of employees is 10-15%. The bad debt ratio is controlled at less than 1%.

To achieve the set goals, the unit has proposed detailed and specific groups of solutions on capital growth, lending investment, providing modern banking products and services, building strong relationships with customers, as well as paying attention to investing in technology development, training human resources...

Speaking at the congress, comrade Dao Quang Nghi - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Enterprise Bloc acknowledged the efforts and achievements of the Party Committee of VietinBank Vinh City Branch in the past term. In the coming term, he requested the Party Committee to continue to closely follow the investment policy for socio-economic development of the province and the orientation of the Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Industry and Trade to promote the growth of market share in the area. At the same time, he is determined to excellently complete the set goals, continue to actively contribute to the strong development of the Nghe An Banking industry, as well as the socio-economic development of Nghe An province.
