(Baonghean.vn) – Through a survey of some private medical establishments in Quy Hop district by the Culture - Society Committee, Provincial People's Council, it was found that private clinic doctors were not on the list of social insurance contributors in the first quarter of 2016; at some drug stores, the facilities were not adequate.
On the morning of August 26, a working delegation of the Culture - Social Committee of the Provincial People's Council surveyed the activities of a number of private medical and pharmaceutical establishments in Quy Hop district.
The delegation visited the Doan Ket Private General Clinic in Nghia Xuan Commune, Quy Hop. According to the report of Dr. Nguyen Hong Vui - Director, in charge of the clinic's professional expertise, this facility was established in 2014 with 19 staff, including 4 full-time contract doctors. The facility performs internal and surgical examinations, diagnostic imaging and testing.

The survey showed that the facilities of this facility were relatively good, with all required documents. However, the monitoring team pointed out a number of problems, such as although there were 4 doctors working, 3 doctors were not listed on the payroll for June 2016; the list of social insurance contributions for the first quarter of 2016 also did not include the names of 2 doctors.

Next, the delegation visited a number of drug stores and agents in Tam Hop commune and Quy Hop town. All drug stores and agents provided the necessary documents: Practice Certificate, Business Registration Certificate and Certificate of Eligibility for Drug Trading.

The drug stores have quite good facilities, meeting all the requirements. However, for some drug stores, the facilities are not guaranteed, the drugs are arranged in a messy way, the pharmacists do not wear blouses and name tags. Notably, the drug store of pharmacist Tran Thi Lai, Tan Thanh hamlet, Tam Hop commune also operates as a grocery store.
