Vietnamese Ambassador to Russia presents credentials to President Putin
On the afternoon of April 11, Vietnamese Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Russian Federation Ngo Duc Manh presented his credentials to President Putin.
Traditionally, the solemn ceremony to receive credentials of foreign ambassadors is held at the Kremlin in Moscow, with the participation of Russian President Putin, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, and a number of Russian Foreign Ministry officials. 17 foreign ambassadors, including Ambassador Ngo Duc Manh, presented their credentials to Russian President Putin.

After receiving credentials from the ambassadors of 17 countries, Russian President Putin gave a speech congratulating the ambassadors on starting their term of office in Russia.
President Putin highly appreciated the role of ambassadors and diplomatic agencies of various countries in promoting cooperation in many aspects: politics, economy, culture and humanity with the Russian Federation.
For its part, Russia always supports and coordinates to build effective cooperative relationships. At the same time, Russian President Putin also spent time talking about Russia's specific relationships with each country.
Regarding Vietnam, President Putin emphasized that Russia and Vietnam are successfully developing a strategic partnership, and interactions between the two countries have been established in many directions and are increasing.
"Vietnam is one of Russia's leading trade partners. Last year, trade turnover between the two countries increased by one-third. Military and military-technical cooperation is underway, the Intergovernmental Commission is working effectively. In general, bilateral cooperation between the two countries is increasing," Mr. Putin said.
President Putin also emphasized that Russia and Vietnam are actively maintaining contacts at the highest and high levels, and coordination between the two countries is increasing, first of all within the framework of multilateral organizations in the Asia-Pacific region.

In his speech to the ambassadors of 17 countries at the ceremony of presenting credentials, Russian President Putin also commented that the situation in the world is becoming increasingly chaotic, however, Russia still hopes that, in the end, reason will prevail, and international relations will enter a constructive phase, the entire world system will become more stable and predictable. Russia is ready to make efforts to act for global security and stability, for peace and prosperity of mankind./.
