German Colonel Analyzes War Scenarios Between the West and Russia
Retired German Colonel Ralf Thiele believes that any option of using Western armed forces in Ukraine would make it a party to the conflict.

According to RIA Novosti, in an analysis article in the German publication Focus on May 29, retired Colonel Ralf Thiele said that any Western force choosing to fight in Ukraine would result in that country becoming a party to the conflict.
"This would be the beginning of direct Western intervention in the conflict - involvement that most Germans do not want," Colonel Thiele said.
Colonel Thiele noted that there are currently discussions about the possibility of training soldiers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces by Western instructors directly in Ukraine, as well as European allies providing Kiev with air defense systems in the west of the country. However, according to Thiele, the implementation of such initiatives would mean that Western military units would take over the main tasks of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. "All this will lead to world war," Colonel Thiele said.
Previously, on May 28, at a press conference after his visit to Uzbekistan, commenting on Western countries allowing Ukraine to use aided weapons to attack Russian territory, President Putin emphasized that NATO countries, especially in Europe, need to be aware of "what game they are playing".
The British Daily Mail said that the US had provoked this conflict, and the UK continued to anger Russia by talking about sending troops to Ukraine. It seems that the West should not be so arrogant, and should stop its constant provocations against Russia./.
