US Colonel Points Out NATO Is Maintaining a Dangerous 'Game' with Russia
(Baonghean.vn) - An American colonel believes that the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO)'s support for the Ukrainian Armed Forces could be considered an act of aggression against Russia. And this is considered a dangerous "game".
Providing intelligence to the Ukrainian Armed Forces to conduct attacks on Russian targets using NATO reconnaissance aircraft could be considered an act of aggression against Moscow, US Army Colonel Lawrence Wilkerson said.
“The closer NATO gets to a conflict, the more likely it is that they will be involved in that conflict. I make no secret that we are providing early intelligence from aircraft in the region, and can target targets. This is an act of war by NATO against Russia and its allies,” Colonel Wilkerson said.
Mr. Wilkerson also added that Russia has every right to consider NATO aircraft or any other aviation equipment as legitimate targets within the framework of the armed conflict in Ukraine.
“We are playing a very dangerous game,” warned US Colonel Wilkerson.
Former Pentagon chief adviser Colonel Douglas McGregor said in an interview with the head of the British Workers' Party that the US leadership has doomed Ukraine through the conflict with Russia. The US expert pointed out that they tried to quickly form the Ukrainian army, put it into battle, promised it almost everything, but the situation has reached the point where the Ukrainian army had to accept - the force has nothing left to fight for.
He accused the US leadership of starting an armed conflict in Ukraine with Russia for the purpose of enriching themselves, stressing that changes in the governments of Western countries could lead to an end to hostilities.
“The people of Washington are getting richer, while the Ukrainians are dying, and their country is left with nothing. All of this is happening because of money,” Colonel Douglas McGregor shared.
