On the morning of August 28, a high-ranking Vietnamese military delegation, led by General Ngo Xuan Lich, Politburo member, Deputy Secretary of the Central Military Commission, and Minister of National Defense, left Hanoi to begin an official friendship visit to China from August 28 to 31.

This is General Ngo Xuan Lich's first visit to China as Minister of National Defense.

The visit of the Vietnamese high-ranking military delegation aims to continue implementing the agreements of the two Parties and States' senior leaders, including increasing high-level contacts and promoting relations in all fields to become more in-depth, stable and substantive.

According to the visit program, Minister Ngo Xuan Lich will hold talks with Chinese Minister of National Defense Chang Wanquan; greet leaders of the Party, State and Central Military Commission of China and visit units of the Chinese People's Liberation Army./.
