Stabbed his wife and mother-in-law to death and then turned himself in.

Out of anger because his wife wanted to go abroad, the husband stabbed his wife to death. His mother-in-law ran out to stop him but was also stabbed to death by her son-in-law.

Initial information, the incident occurred at around 4:00 a.m. on June 18, at Cat Lai hamlet, Phu Huu commune, Nhon Trach district (Dong Nai).

Nguyen Ngoc Dung (51 years old, living in Ho Chi Minh City) lives with his wife's family at the above address. Recently, Dung and his wife had a conflict because Pham Thi Kieu (36 years old, Dung's wife) wanted to continue going to Malaysia but Dung did not agree.

Early in the morning of June 18, when Ms. Kieu called a taxi to pick her up, Dung asked "when will you be back?" (Ms. Kieu had been to Malaysia many times before - PV). When Dung's wife answered "I don't know", Dung stabbed her with a knife. At this time, Ms. Ly Thi Hong (68 years old, Ms. Kieu's mother) discovered and ran to stop her, but was also stabbed by Dung.

Both Ms. Kieu and Ms. Hong died. After committing the crime, Dung went to the police station to surrender.

The incident is being investigated by the authorities.
