High-level US-Russia talks make important progress

After high-level talks in Saudi Arabia, both the US and Russia said important progress had been made, but more was needed.

Delegations from North Korea and South Korea began their first high-level talks in more than two years this morning (January 9) at the truce village of Panmunjom, a positive sign for the prospect of easing tensions.
North Korea cancels high-level talks with South Korea over leaflets

According to AFP, North Korean state media said on October 11 that the country had canceled high-level talks with South Korea due to Seoul's dropping of anti-Pyongyang leaflets the day before.
