Dam Vinh Hung "old" still wants to compete for music awards
As a rare veteran face whose name is on the POPS awards, Dam Vinh Hung said he is not afraid to compete with young people, even though he already has hundreds of trophies in his hands.

At the POPS Awards 2017 introduction event, Dam Vinh Hung shared:"I have prepared all my tricks, and this will be the first place I show it."
And when asked if he was too greedy to still compete for awards even though he had a respectable position in showbiz, he said: "I myself am a person who is very greedy for awards, and for me any award is very precious, because then I know that the audience still has love, care, and support for me.
I also don't mind being placed next to young artists, because at that time, to the audience, I was still young and still had the ability to compete. I don't mind wearing the showbiz's shirt."
Meanwhile, artist Truong Giang said this was the first time he tried his hand at a new role - MC for a livestream program.
POPS Awards 2017 includes eight awards, with four awards competing for the top 3 nominees (data collected from January 1, 2017 to December 31, 2017) including: Entertainment Channel of the Year, Comedy Channel of the Year, Musician of the Year, Music Video of the Year.
The remaining awards, in addition to being considered for views and channel followers, are also selected based on criteria regarding the level of influence of that product/artist on the market.
Among these eight awards, there is a special appearance of the Bolero Singer of the Year category, proving that bolero has been very popular in the past year and the coming year.
This time, the POPS awards ceremony was also larger in scale, being held for the first time at Military Zone 7 Stadium at 7:00 p.m. on January 17, for more than 3,000 spectators.
The program will be staged as a grand concert with the participation of many prominent faces: singer Dam Vinh Hung, Dan Truong, Ha Anh Tuan, Van Mai Huong, Bao Anh, Quynh Trang, Mr. Siro, comedian Truong Giang, baby Bao An, Ben Hoang Quan, Ha Mi, Bao Ngu, Ben Lee, Kutin, group La La School...
The program will be broadcast live on YouTube and Facebook channels POPS TV and POPS Music at 7:00 p.m. on January 17.
