Dam Vinh Hung: 'Quang Le's personality is like a child'

The singer commented that his colleague is naive and cute, easily angered but quickly forgetful.

On August 29, the program Tuyet Dinh Song Ca had its premiere in Ho Chi Minh City. The three pairs of coaches for season two are: Dam Vinh Hung - Vu Quoc Viet, Cam Ly - Minh Vy, Quang Le - Hoai An. Singer Quang Le was absent from the event due to work.

Musician Minh Vy received questions about his relationship with singer Quang Le. Cam Ly's husband once wrote on his personal Facebook that he would not work with Quang Le again. A few years ago, the two collaborated on a music night in Hanoi. Minh Vy felt that the singer had an arrogant and sometimes childish way of speaking, so the two had problems and misunderstandings. "However, after arguing, Quang Le was willing to hug me as if there had never been a conflict before. After a few times like that, the other person was happy and it was not right for me to be angry all the time. I realized that it was just his way of speaking and he had no bad intentions," Minh Vy expressed.

Continuing his colleague's comments, Dam Vinh Hung commented that Quang Le gets angry easily but forgets easily. "To me, Hue people are usually delicate and careful in their decisions, but Quang Le is an exception. His personality is very 'bull lung', if I had to describe it, the exact word would be 'baby'. After a while of getting to know him and understanding him, I found Quang Le's way of speaking cute and innocent, so we don't hate or get angry anymore but understand each other more," the singer shared.

Dam Vinh Hung and Quang Le once had a feud over a student dispute. The singer of Say Tinh once declared that he would not look at his colleague. Later, backstage at Bolero Idol 2017, the two put aside their differences and happily asked each other questions.

Ms. Pham Kim Dung, director of the production unit, said that in season two, Tuyet Dinh Song Ca will blend Bolero with other music genres. The representative of the crew shared that Bolero is making a comeback due to the audience's preferences, and the producers cannot go against the taste. The crew will include many songs from the Blue Wave era in the program to honor one of the golden periods of Vietnamese music.

In the show, in the reveal round, the duets will sing behind a secret curtain. In this round, three pairs of coaches will flip a lever to choose any pair of contestants they like. For the chosen duet, the curtain will turn, revealing the two main characters. Any contestant who receives two or more yeses will have the right to choose a coach. The contestants will go through the next rounds such as confrontation, conquest, semi-finals and the final night.
