Germans see Trump's actions as more threatening to the world than Putin's policies
Most Germans believe that the actions of US President Donald Trump are the greater threat to the world, not the policies of Russian President Vladimir Putin.

According to a survey conducted by Handelsblatt, 64% of respondents believe that Trump is endangering the maintenance of peace. Only 16% of respondents see such a threat in the Russian President's policies.
In addition, as the survey results show, more and more Germans feel sympathetic towards Putin, seeing the Russian leader as a capable and influential politician.
For example, 36% of survey respondents said they liked the Russian president, while only 6% had a favorable opinion of Trump. At the same time, 58% of respondents were reluctant to express their sympathy for the leaders of Russia and the United States.
More than half of the survey participants (56%) rated Putin as a knowledgeable politician, while only 5% saw such a trait in the US President. In addition, 43% of Germans ranked Putin as an influential politician, while 25% supported Trump.
