The Drug Crime Investigation Police Department of Nghe An Province Police has just coordinated with Dong Nai Province Police to successfully arrest a wanted subject who had been on the run for nearly 2 years for the crime of "Theft of property".
The suspect is Tran Xuan Hanh (born in 1990, residing in My Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district). It is worth mentioning that while on the run, he continued to commit crimes.

In September 2017, Tran Xuan Hanh and his accomplices committed 11 motorbike thefts in Dien Chau, Yen Thanh, Quynh Luu districts... Dien Chau district police investigated and identified Hanh as the mastermind. Consolidating the evidence, the district police issued a decision to prosecute the case, prosecuting the accused Tran Xuan Hanh for the crime of "Theft of property".
However, Hanh fled his residence. On November 7, 2017, the Investigation Police Agency of Dien Chau District Police issued Wanted Decision No. 07 for Tran Xuan Hanh.
It is known that in 2012 and 2013, Tran Xuan Hanh was arrested by District 7 Police, Ho Chi Minh City for theft. After serving a prison sentence of more than 5 years at Tien Giang Detention Center, he continued to Nghe An to commit a series of motorbike thefts. When discovered by the police, the subject quickly fled to the southern provinces.
In early May 2019, after a period of persistent investigation, information and evidence collection, the Wanted Team of the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department determined that Tran Xuan Hanh was serving a prison sentence at the Dong Nai Provincial Police Detention Center.
While on the run from Nghe An Police, he continued to steal property and was arrested by Bien Hoa City Police, Dong Nai Province on January 30, 2018.
Having identified that important information, the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department of Nghe An Province coordinated with Dong Nai Province Police, waiting for the time on May 30, 2019, when the subject had just finished serving his prison sentence, to immediately proceed with the arrest.
Currently, the police are continuing to consolidate the case file and handle the subject according to the provisions of the law.
