The Party Committee of Central Agencies held the 4th Executive Committee Conference in Nghe An

The Party Committee of the Central Agencies Bloc currently has 61 affiliated Party Committees, including 1,099 grassroots Party organizations, 5,485 affiliated Party cells with 81,196 Party members at home and abroad.

In the first quarter of 2021, the Party Committee of the Bloc and its subordinate Party Committees continued to closely follow the leadership and direction of the Politburo and the Central Secretariat, focusing on leading and directing Party Committees, Party organizations, cadres and Party members to advise on the implementation of political tasks and Party building work effectively and safely in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic.

After 13 years of implementing Decision No. 98-QD/TW dated October 22, 2007 of the Politburo, the Party Committee of the Bloc has achieved practical and important results in Party building work, contributing to the successful completion of political tasks of agencies and units in the Party Committee of the Bloc; Party organizations in the Party Committee of the Bloc are increasingly clean and strong, the contingent of cadres and party members have strived, matured and progressed.

However, the Party building work of the Party Committee of the Bloc still faces many difficulties, some regulations are not clear in terms of content and methods. The working relationship between the Party Committee of the Bloc and the Party delegation, the Party executive committee, and the leaders of the Central agencies, although regulated, still has contents that have not been specifically defined, leading to low efficiency...

In some agencies with important positions and roles directly carrying out the tasks assigned by the Politburo and the Secretariat, the Party organization is only at the grassroots level, not up to the task. The work of organization and cadres in some places and some stages is still difficult, especially the arrangement of specialized cadres to do Party work of the subordinate Party Committees has not met the requirements and tasks.

At the conference, delegates contributed their opinions to the Project to amend and supplement Decision No. 98/QD-TW of the Politburo on the functions, tasks, and organizational structure of the Party Committee of the Central Agencies; the draft Action Program of the Executive Committee of the Party Committee of the Central Agencies to implement the Resolution of the 13th National Congress of the Party.

In his concluding remarks at the Conference, Comrade Huynh Tan Viet - Secretary of the Party Committee of the Central Agencies Bloc acknowledged the 12 democratic, frank and responsible opinions of the delegates. The Party Executive Committee of the Bloc unanimously authorized the Standing Committee to direct the Organizing Committee and the Editorial Board to absorb the opinions at the Conference in order to complete the document to send to the Central Party Office to seek opinions from the Central Agencies and then report to the Politburo.

The Executive Committee of the Party Committee of the Central Agencies also unanimously approved the contents of the Action Program to implement the Resolution of the 13th National Congress of the Party, as a premise for implementing the political tasks of the Party Committee of the Bloc for the 2020-2025 term and unanimously assigned the Propaganda Department of the Party Committee of the Bloc to receive opinions, complete and submit to the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Bloc for signing and promulgation.
