Nghia Dong Commune Party Committee unites to develop the economy and improve people's lives.

On May 11 and 12, 2020, the Party Committee of Nghia Dong commune, Tan Ky district successfully organized the 22nd congress, term 2020 - 2025.

With the dynamism and creativity in leadership and direction of the Party Committee and authorities, the people's solidarity, consensus, and diverse occupations, over the past 5 years, Nghia Dong commune's economy has continued to have quite comprehensive development, with an average annual growth rate of 10.52%.Production value in 2020 is estimated at 298 billion 780 million VND, exceeding the target set in the resolution.

In particular, Nghia Dong commune is at the forefront of land consolidation, building specialized fields for rice, sugarcane, and mulberry, bringing concentrated livestock farms to the fields, doing a good job of exporting labor, and attracting investment.

Up to now, the average income per capita has reached 42.3 million VND, equal to 115.5% of the plan, 1.5 times higher than the beginning of the term, 9.2 million VND higher than the average level of Tan Ky district. The poverty rate decreased from 2.9% in 2015 to 1.1% in 2019.

The commune has Nghia Dong Secondary School, the leading school of the education sector in the country and is steadily striving to become a Labor Hero in the renovation period. Thanks to maximizing internal resources and taking advantage of external resources, the locality has completed and exceeded 25/28 targets set by the resolution of the 21st Party Congress of the commune for the 2015-2020 term.

The key task for the 2020-2025 term, Nghia Dong Commune Party Committee continues to create a breakthrough in economic development; strives for the average added value per capita to reach 60-65 million VND/person/year by 2025. Create an average of 200-220 new jobs annually; of which 60-70 are labor exports.people. Maintain national standard schools at all three levels.

The commune strives to build Nghia Dong Secondary School to achieve the title of Heroic Labor Unit in the renovation period; Linking socio-economic development with strengthening national defense and security, building a strong and comprehensive Party and political system, striving every year for the Party Committee, government, Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations at the commune level to successfully complete their tasks, including 1-2 years of excellent task completion.

In the spirit of solidarity and democracy, the congress elected the 22nd term executive committee consisting of 14 members and elected a delegation to attend the upcoming Tan Ky district Party Congress, and voted to introduce personnel for the position of Commune Party Committee Secretary. The new term executive committee also elected Party positions according to regulations. Comrade Phan Dang Thi was re-elected as Nghia Dong Commune Party Committee Secretary.
