While running, the train suddenly burst into flames.

The TN2 passenger train was traveling on the North-South railway line through Phu Loc district (Thua Thien - Hue) when it suddenly caught fire.

Smoke billowed from a compartment of the TN2 train.

The leader of the Thua Thien - Hue Railway Transport Branch confirmed that a train fire had just occurred in the area. Accordingly, at around 12 noon on June 10, the TN2 passenger train running from South to North was passing through the Cau Hai - Da Bac area in Loc Dien commune (Phu Loc district, Thua Thien - Hue) when a fire broke out in a train car.

While the train was moving, people discovered smoke and fire coming from a train car and reported it to the authorities. Immediately, railway workers on the Cau Hai - Da Bac route signaled the train to stop to put out the fire.

Afterwards, local people and railway staff used fire extinguishers to put out the fire. 30 minutes later, the fire was completely extinguished.

The fire did not cause any casualties but burned several motorbikes in the train compartment. The incident also paralyzed the North-South railway line for more than half an hour.
