US Democrats seek to force Trump to reveal the subject of negotiations with President Putin
US Democrats are discussing legal means to force President Donald Trump to reveal details of his meetings with Russian leader Vladimir Putin, Politico writes.

Representative Adam Schiff, head of the Intelligence Committee, told the news agency that he is currently consulting with legal counsel Douglas Letter on how to force the Trump administration to hand over documents related to personal negotiations with President Putin.
"I have met with senior counsel to discuss the matter and determine the best course of action to learn what took place at these private meetings, whether that be through subpoenas for interpreter testimony, interpreter notes, or other means," Mr. Schiff said.
Previously, The Washington Post claimed that President Trump had concealed details of negotiations during meetings with Mr. Putin. Mr. Trump later denied this information.
For its part, the US House Foreign Affairs Committee announced its plan to hold hearings on the negotiations between Mr. Trump and Putin./.
