Pitiful family situation of the worker who had an accident and is waiting to die
(Baonghean.vn) - A mother and son went to work in Taiwan, but unfortunately the son had a traffic accident, and the overseas Vietnamese community raised money to bring him home. It has been more than a year since then, but due to difficult circumstances and severe injuries, the son is now waiting to die.
That is the tragic situation of the family of Mr. Le Van The and his wife Dang Thi Tinh in Quynh Khoi hamlet, Khanh Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district (Nghe An).
Ms. Dang Thi Tinh said: Due to difficult family circumstances, in August 2017, she and her eldest son Le Cong Tuan (born in 1998) went to Taiwan to work, hoping to escape poverty.
Unfortunately, after 2 months of working, the son had a traffic accident and could no longer work. Due to the family's difficult circumstances and having to borrow money to go abroad to work, the Vietnamese community abroad called for donations to help the family bring their son back home.
A year has passed, although the family has taken the child for treatment 3 times, but due to the crushed cervical vertebrae, it is very difficult to heal, while the family does not have the conditions to continue hospitalization, or transfer the child to a higher level.

Therefore, for many months now, the family has accepted to let their son stay at home. Every day, the parents take turns taking care of him. Paralyzed limbs, unable to walk, lying in one place, causing many places on his body to become sore and painful.
The family of Mr. The is living in a dilapidated, rickety house. The family of Mr. Le Van The wants to take their son to the Central Hospital for treatment, but they do not have the funds, so the family hopes that the community will once again help treat their son's injuries.

Mr. Cao Dinh Son - Vice Chairman of Khanh Thanh Commune People's Committee said: Le Van The's family situation is the most tragic in the commune. They are both poor and their son had an accident and is bedridden. Now the family cannot afford to take him to the hospital for treatment.
"We really need the support of kind hearts and the sharing of the community to help his family have the conditions to treat his illness, reducing the burden on the family" - Mr. Cao Dinh Son shared.
