List of Russian economic sanctions against Türkiye
(Baonghean.vn) - On November 28, President Vladimir Putin signed a decree allowing the application of a series of economic retaliatory measures against Türkiye after the country shot down a Russian bomber on the Syrian border on November 24.
According to the Moscow government, the economic sanctions will be applied in the tourism and import sectors to “ensure national security and the security of Russian citizens”. The list includes: banning flights between Russia and Turkey; restoring the visa regime between the two countries; strengthening checks on Turkish airlines on Russian territory; prohibiting Russian employers from hiring Turkish workers from January 1, 2016; limiting the ability of “authorized Turkish” organizations to work in Russia; banning or restricting … “import of certain goods originating from the Republic of Turkey” according to a list defined by the Russian government, the composition of which has not been published.

Although Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan tried to calm the situation by declaring that he “regretted” the serious incident between the two countries and “wished that this had never happened”, Russia is still angry at the actions of the Turkish military.
“In our opinion, it is difficult to determine the degree of predictability of Türkiye's actions,” said Kremlin spokesman Dmitri Peskov.
As for Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, he said, “This is not revenge… the threats are absolutely real.” Foreign Minister Sergey also accused Türkiye of being involved with IS when “the flow of radical jihadists is established through Türkiye in different directions.” Not stopping economic sanctions, Mr. Sergey affirmed that Russia “actively supports” French President Hollande’s proposal to close the Turkish-Syrian border and hopes “this initiative will be implemented.”
In Russia, anti-Turkish sentiment continues to rise. On November 27, Rodilan, the nationalist party of Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin, placed a doll with a portrait of Turkish President Erdogan in a coffin and brought it near the Turkish Embassy in Moscow. Another effigy of President Erdogan was also burned by youths in Crimea.
