List of Vietnam national team members gathering for the 2022 World Cup qualifiers in the UAE

Previously, Coach Park Hang-seo announced a list of 45 players to be vaccinated against Covid-19. This list is understood to be the preliminary list of the Vietnam national team preparing for the 2022 World Cup qualifiers taking place in the UAE.

However, today the Korean coach has shortened the list to 35 players to join the Vietnam national team.

Notably, in this time's training list, the Korean strategist did not call up Doan Van Hau due to injury. In addition, center back Nguyen Huu Tuan (HAGL) is also a regrettable name as he was not called up despite his good form.

The list includes some surprising names such as central defender Thanh Binh (Viettel), defender Thanh Thinh (Da Nang). Midfielder Ly Cong Hoang Anh of Ha Tinh, who has just returned from injury, has also been called up.

SLNA ClubThere are 3 faces including goalkeeper Nguyen Van Hoang, Pham Xuan Manh, Phan Van Duc. The number of Nghe An players in the team is still very large with pillars such as Que Ngoc Hai, Trong Hoang, Cong Phuong. Striker Ho Tuan Tai is not on this list.

The above list will continue to be shortened to 25 players on May 18 before the Vietnam team leaves for the UAE. Here, coach Park Hang-seo and his team will have about 10 days to prepare and adapt before the match with Indonesia on June 7.
