(Baonghean.vn) - Reactionary organizations are groups of people with reactionary thoughts, opposing the cause of building and protecting the socialist Vietnamese Fatherland. They use many forms, including social networks, to propagate, attack, and attract people to participate in disguised associations and groups.

Reactionary organizations often use the rhetoric of "social criticism", fighting for "democracy", "human rights", building "civil society", protecting sovereignty and territory... to propagate and distort the Party and State's guidelines, policies and strategies; incite hostile thoughts and attitudes.

Notable are the following associations, groups and organizations:

1. Viet Tan:

The full name of the organization “Viet Tan” is “Vietnam Reform Party”. Headquarters is located at: 2530 Berryessa Rd #234 San Jose CA 95132 - 2903, USA; “Office 2” in Bangkok, Thailand. Propaganda agencies: “Resistance” newspaper; “Vietnam Resistance” radio station, “New Horizon”. Leaders and commanders: (1) Do Hoang Diem, born in 1963, American nationality, “Chairman of Viet Tan”; (2) Ly Thai Hung, born in 1953, American nationality, “General Secretary of Viet Tan”…

Formation process: In 1981, Hoang Co Minh, former Brigadier General, Vice Admiral of the Navy of the former Saigon government, established the "National United Front for the Liberation of Vietnam" (hereinafter referred to as the "Front") to fight against Vietnam through armed and terrorist activities.

In 1982, Hoang Co Minh established the "Vietnam Reform Revolutionary Party", which was the central agency, commanding all activities of the "Front"; the members of the "Front" were also members of "Viet Tan".

Reactionary organizations often use social networks to incite and attract people to participate in disguised groups and associations.

After its establishment, “Viet Tan” organized recruitment and training for members on how to use weapons and explosives to conduct terrorist activities, sabotage, kidnapping, and hostage killings; carried out the campaigns “Eastward 1”, “Eastward 2”, “Eastward 3”, sending armed groups with 246 members from Thailand to infiltrate through Laos and Cambodia to Vietnam to establish “secret bases”, and conduct riots and terrorist activities, but were prevented and neutralized by the authorities of Vietnam and Laos.

Abroad, “Viet Tan” established the “K9 Assassination Team” led by core members, specializing in carrying out terrorism and eliminating Vietnamese journalists who reported on the defrauding activities of overseas Vietnamese by Hoang Co Minh and his accomplices; among them, were Mr. Duong Trong Lam, editor-in-chief of the “Cai Dinh Lang” newspaper in San Francisco and Mr. Nguyen Dam Phong, founder of the “Tu Do” newspaper in Houston.

Currently, “Viet Tan” continues to recruit, train, and direct members to infiltrate Vietnam to incite protests, disrupt security, riots, assassinate, and kidnap hostages; send people abroad for training, coaching, and organizing online training courses on methods and activities of terrorism and sabotage; disseminate instructions on the Internet on how to make petrol bombs to serve terrorist activities, sabotage, and assassination... Vietnamese authorities have arrested and prosecuted a number of “Viet Tan” members who committed terrorism crimes such as Nguyen Quoc Quan, Nguyen Thi Thanh Van, Truong Leon...

“Viet Tan” is a terrorist organization, therefore, anyone who participates, propagates, entices, incites others to participate, sponsors, receives sponsorship from “Viet Tan”; participates in training courses organized by “Viet Tan”; operates under the direction of “Viet Tan”… will be an accomplice to terrorism, sponsoring terrorism and will be handled according to the provisions of Vietnamese law.

The Boat People SOS (abbreviated as BPSOS) is a non-governmental and non-profit organization of Vietnamese Americans with civil and political activities founded in 1980. This organization is one of four members of the Coalition to Abolish Modern Slavery in Asia (CAMSA). It is an organization that operates against the Party and State of Vietnam in the fields of democracy and human rights.

In addition, there are a number of other political organizations that openly oppose our Party and State, such as: the Coalition to Abolish Modern Slavery in Asia and America (CAMSA); the Committee to Protect Vietnamese Workers (Wacsava, Poland); the Office to Support Vietnamese Workers (Tanagatina) in Penang; the Transnational Radical Party (TRP); the Free Vietnam Alliance (FVA); the Bach Dang Giang Organization; the Free Vietnam Organization; the Party for the People; the Nationalist Party; the Bia Son Public Law Council (formerly the An Dan Dai Dao organization)...

In fact, the above political organizations were established and operated on the basis of support and assistance, both material and spiritual, from hostile forces against Vietnam. Fighting against hostile, reactionary forces and their henchmen is a long-term, complicated and difficult process that requires the participation of the whole society, based on different forms and methods of struggle. In particular, identifying and exposing counter-revolutionary organizations that oppose the Party, the State and our people play a very important role in helping the masses understand, thereby joining hands in the cause of building and defending the socialist Vietnamese Fatherland.
