Twelve cars parked on the side of the road had their windows smashed by a group of young men, not with the intention of stealing or taking revenge, but rather to "show off their arrogance".

On the evening of May 24, Hai Chau District Police (Da Nang) summoned 7 young men suspected of being involved in the destruction of a series of cars parked overnight on the street.

This group, all under 18 years old, admitted their actions but affirmed that the car destruction was not intended to steal property or have personal conflicts, but rather to show their recklessness and disregard for the law.

12 cars parked overnight on the streets of Da Nang were vandalized by a group of young men.

Earlier on the night of May 20 and early morning of May 21, many residents in the center of Da Nang City discovered that their family's car parked overnight on the street had its windows smashed.

Police investigated and recorded that 9 vehicles in Hai Chau district, 2 vehicles in Thanh Khe district and one vehicle in Son Tra district were damaged, causing hundreds of millions of dong in damage.

Extracting cameras along the streets and on cars, the police followed the direction of the group of young men's movements, narrowed down the suspects and summoned them to the headquarters for questioning.
