(Baonghean.vn) – On the 30th day of the 12th lunar month and the 1st and 2nd days of the Lunar New Year 2017 (Year of the Rooster), reporters and collaborators of Baonghean Newspaper visited revolutionary "red addresses" and recorded meaningful moments of gratitude from Party and State leaders and people from all walks of life at revolutionary historical sites during the new spring season.

Trang Ke Cemetery in My Thanh commune (Yen Thanh district) is where the French colonialists executed 72 communist fighters during the 1930-1931 movement. Comrade Nguyen Duc Mau was one of the outstanding individuals who actively contributed to the establishment of the district Party committee, and was also the first Secretary of the District Party Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam in Quynh Luu district. | At the Truông Bồn National Historical Site, on the warm, sunny day of January 29th (the second day of the Lunar New Year), a group of young pilgrims, dressed in the colors of the national flag, took commemorative photos. The site commemorates the heroic contributions and sacrifices of the Truông Bồn soldiers, most notably the heroic sacrifice of 13 young volunteer soldiers of the "Steel Squad" on October 31, 1968. The President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam awarded the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces to the collective of 14 young volunteer soldiers of Truông Bồn, belonging to Company 317, Team 65, General Volunteer Youth Brigade for the Anti-American War, Nghe An province – including 11 female and 2 male soldiers who bravely sacrificed their lives.
