Promoting the construction of 10 key centers in the North Central region in Vinh City

(Baonghean.vn) - This is the direction of comrade Nguyen Xuan Duong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee at the meeting to give opinions on the development of the Plan to implement Decision 2468 dated December 29, 2015 of the Prime Minister approving the Project to develop Vinh City, Nghe An Province into an economic and cultural center of the North Central region by 2020 in the spirit of Resolution No. 26 of the Politburo on the afternoon of April 19.

Also attending the meeting were comrade Vo Viet Thanh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of Vinh City Party Committee and Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee: Le Ngoc Hoa, Huynh Thanh Dien; representatives of leaders of departments, branches of the province and some related localities.

Accordingly, Vinh City is identified as a growth locomotive and solves important tasks of economic development of Nghe An province and the North Central region. At the meeting, leaders of Vinh City and related sectors and localities focused on discussing approaches and developing appropriate plans to effectively mobilize and promote resources; adjust administrative boundaries, improve the quality of education - training, science - technology, etc. Thereby, when put into implementation, it will be feasible and highly effective, aiming to build a civilized and modern Vinh City, achieving the set goals.

Comrade Vo Viet Thanh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of Vinh City Party Committee spoke at the meeting.

Comrade Le Ngoc Hoa - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee spoke, emphasizing that it is necessary to find capital solutions to implement the Prime Minister's Decision.

Concluding the meeting, comrade Nguyen Xuan Duong emphasized that the Implementation Plan plays a decisive role in the development of Vinh City, so when building it, quality must be ensured. Based on that viewpoint, Vinh City must absorb the spirit of the meeting, establish a professional team to rewrite the outline of the Implementation Plan of Decision 2468 in a way that reflects specific tasks, viewpoints, and goals.

Comrade Nguyen Xuan Duong concluded the working session, requesting Vinh City and the sectors to coordinate in developing a Plan to implement Decision 2468 to ensure quality.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested: on the basis of 10 identified regional centers, the Plan must show the implementation plan for each group of fields. In addition, based on the outline of the Plan, the Provincial People's Committee Office has an official dispatch directing relevant sectors in 10 fields to propose specific work for the sector.
