Promote the role and responsibility of leaders in mass mobilization work

(Baonghean.vn) – This is one of the key contents of Directive 16/CT-TTg “On strengthening and innovating mass mobilization work in state administrative agencies and authorities at all levels in the new situation” of the Prime Minister.

On October 7, the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission organized a training course on mass mobilization work in 2016 for cadres working in mass mobilization at all levels and sectors of the province.

Attending the conference were comrades: Le Xuan Dai - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Head of the Steering Committee for Grassroots Democracy Regulations; Head of the Steering Committee for Mass Mobilization of the Provincial Government; Le Ba Hung - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee.

On May 16, 2016, the Prime Minister issued Directive 16/CT-TTg “On strengthening and innovating mass mobilization work in state administrative agencies and authorities at all levels in the new situation”. On that basis, on September 1, 2016, the Provincial People's Committee issued Directive 13 on this issue.

Accordingly, identifying mass mobilization work as the task of the entire political system, state administrative agencies, and authorities at all levels must regularly and thoroughly grasp the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws on mass mobilization work; proactively develop programs, plans, and organize mass mobilization work in conjunction with performing professional tasks.

These directives also emphasize the role and responsibility of leaders, and enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of mass mobilization work in state administrative agencies and authorities at all levels.

Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission Le Ba Hung delivered the opening speech of the training program.

In his opening speech, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission Le Ba Hung emphasized that the 2016 training conference on mass mobilization must ensure that the program and content are in line with the set program and high quality. At the same time, he requested that cadres working on mass mobilization in the province continue to study the contents that have been deployed; thereby, grasping the requirements and methods to effectively carry out mass mobilization work at all levels and sectors, contributing effectively to the construction and development of the province.

During the training program, delegates listened to the contents on building and implementing grassroots democracy regulations; mass mobilization work for religious followers and dignitaries and some religious issues in our country today; thoroughly grasp and deploy the Project on "Strengthening mass mobilization work in ethnic minority areas in Nghe An province in the period of 2016-2020 and the following years".

The Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission also implemented Conclusion No. 03-KL/TW dated May 13, 2016 of the Secretariat on continuing to implement Decision No. 290-QD/TW of the Politburo on promulgating the Regulations on mass mobilization work of the political system.

In addition, the organizing committee also discussed a number of core issues in implementing Decision 217 on the Regulations on supervision and social criticism of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations; Decision 218 regulating the participation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations and people in giving opinions on Party and government building.

At the end of the training course, the leaders of the Environmental Protection Department disseminated some contents on environmental protection propaganda work.
