The projects that are behind schedule in Cua Lo Town inspected by the Provincial People's Committee include: Hanoi Tourism Joint Stock Company's hotel and motel area; Cua Lo Town's tourist hotel and luxury apartment complex; BMC Cua Lo PLAZA; Ha Dung Port; Song Hong Resort; Luxury apartment and villa complex combined with trade and services; Elderly care center; Van Xuan University of Technology; Vietnam - Laos - Cambodia Cooperation Development Association and the Bank for Industry and Trade - Cua Lo Branch.

According to the report of the People's Committee of Cua Lo Town, up to now, the Hotel and Motel Project of Hanoi Tourism Joint Stock Company with a total investment of nearly 78 billion VND, has completed construction items.
BMC Cua Lo Plaza project, invested by BMC Construction Materials and Commercial Construction Company Limited, was granted an investment certificate by the province in 2008, but has not yet started construction of any items.
The project of Wharf and Fishing Port - Ha Dung Company Limited has a total investment of more than 94 billion VND, the planning area of both locations is nearly 30,000 m2.2, was granted an investment certificate by the Provincial People's Committee in 2009. Up to now, location 1 has not been constructed yet, location 2 has implemented some items.

The Red River Resort project is implemented by Red River Construction Joint Stock Company on an approved usage area of nearly 10,000 m2.2, construction progress from 2012 - 2015. Currently, the project has completed leveling, site clearance, building surrounding fence, other items have not been implemented.
The project of high-class apartment and villa complex combined with tourism and trade is licensed to be built on a land area of over 8,000 m2.2The Provincial People's Committee assigned the land in 2011. Up to now, the project has completed the rough construction of the villa area, the 17-storey apartment building has not been implemented yet.
The Van Xuan University of Technology project has a total investment of 350 billion VND, on a land area of over 50 hectares. The project progress is carried out in 2 phases (phase 1 from 2007 - 2010, phase 2 from 2010 - 2015). Up to now, the project has completed investment in phase 1, on a land area of 8.47 hectares; phase 2 has not yet implemented construction items.

The Vietnam - Laos - Cambodia Economic Development Association project was licensed by the province to be built in 2011 on a land area of over 2,300 m2.2; The project of the Industrial and Commercial Bank, Cua Lo branch, was licensed by the province to build in 2013, with a scale of 4,900 m2, currently not implementing any construction items.
The resort villa area invested by Hamico Bao Khanh Investment and Trading Company Limited, licensed by the province in 2013, has now built infrastructure and is completing adjacent villa apartments...

| After inspecting the projects and listening to the suggestions of the People's Committee of Cua Lo Town, the departments and project owners, Comrade Nguyen Xuan Duong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assigned the departments, departments and the People's Committee of Cua Lo Town to re-examine specifically, advise the Provincial People's Committee to withdraw projects that are behind schedule and not feasible. |
At the meeting, the People's Committee of Cua Lo Town and leaders of the Departments of Construction, Planning and Investment, Natural Resources and Environment and Taxation proposed the Provincial People's Committee to withdraw some projects that are behind schedule and unfeasible: Red River Resort; Elderly Care Center. Propose the Provincial People's Committee to withdraw part of the projects that are behind schedule in phase 2: High-end apartment and villa complex combined with trade and services; Van Xuan University of Technology Project and withdraw area 1 of the Ha Dung Wharf and Fishing Port Project.
For projects under construction and completing tax obligations to the state, it is recommended that the Provincial People's Committee continue to direct investment and commit to implementing the project in accordance with the law.
Concluding the working session, Comrade Nguyen Xuan Duong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee directed: After this inspection, the sectors must actively participate. Assign the Department of Planning and Investment to report to the Provincial People's Committee on the progress and results of the projects that the delegation has inspected; at the same time, send documents to the projects and have commitments from the project owners; advise the Provincial People's Committee on the capacity of each project so that the province can make specific decisions and terminate unfeasible projects. Assign the People's Committee of Cua Lo Town to send documents to the People's Committee for each project, no later than October 30. For the inspected projects, the Department of Planning and Investment will re-inspect to have documents requesting the Provincial People's Committee according to the levels, with commitments and requirements to properly implement the commitments.
Accordingly, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested project owners to invest for the right purposes. Some land areas of projects that have not yet been built (in phases) will be reclaimed in the coming time.
