Charity concert raises over 65 million VND to support disadvantaged families
(Baonghean.vn) - On the night of August 30, Thanh Phong Commune Youth Union (Thanh Chuong) organized a charity music night to support the family of Mr. Phan Van Hoa - a household with especially difficult circumstances in the commune.
Mr. Hoa's family (Hamlet 8A), is the poorest in Thanh Phong commune, with 5 members of the family suffering from serious illnesses. Mr. Phan Van Hoa (born in 1972) himself has a mental illness. Two of his 5 children, Phan Thi Loan (7 years old) and Phan Thi Mai (3 years old), have congenital disabilities, with limp limbs and are bedridden. Mr. Phan Van U - Mr. Hoa's father has lung cancer. Mrs. Nguyen Thi Lan - his mother has a stroke and has been bedridden for a long time. The 9 members of the family depend solely on Ms. Nguyen Thi Sau (born in 1975) - Mr. Hoa's wife.

Faced with that situation, Thanh Phong Commune Youth Union organized a charity music night to call on organizations, individuals, and kind-hearted people to donate and help share the difficulties with Mr. Hoa's family.
The concert was attended by art troupes and artists from Thanh Chuong, Do Luong, Yen Thanh volunteer clubs, Vinh University, and Hanoi University of Culture and Arts. Despite unfavorable weather conditions (storms, having to move the venue), the concert still took place in a warm and friendly atmosphere and received the support of more than 270 groups and individuals inside and outside the district.
